DCAPS Copyright Servicesstaff assist you in investigating and seeking permissions for collections that will be digitized and also help you determine your rights and secure protection for your own intellectual property. Interpreting fair use guidelines, tracking ownership, and negotiating terms and fees are some key areas of concern. The unit also promotes general education and awareness of copyright issues via a web site - http://www.copyright.cornell.edu/ - and a workshop series (Calendar of Events).
