Founded in 2003, DCAPS was created to be a single-point of service for those wishing to create digital collections, whether they are faculty, library staff, or outside patrons. DCAPS is a virtual group that spans multiple departments within Cornell University Library, including Library Technical Services and Cornell University Library IT. Our dynamic staff includes librarians, photographers, metadata specialists, web designers, programmers, and project managers.
Specializing in high-end digitization, metadata customization and creation, and online delivery, the DCAPS staff is recognized worldwide for creating innovative collections in support of instructional and research activities. Whether you are seeking to digitize content for a class, or looking to push the envelope on new modes of scholarly communication, DCAPS is here to help. Preliminary consultation is free and fees are low.
